Calgary and Ambrose and Scotiabank
Hello to all you who read this. I got some exciting news, about one more month till school starts! Okay maybe a month and a half, but I'm so excited! I really can't wait to start up a routine with school and work and studying.
That's right, I'm working but not at the Cheesecake Cafe! I found out that I'm not the best at multitasking. Like I can do it, but I seem to always forget things which doesn't work when you need to re order a steak that will take 10 more minutes to cook. The hours also weren't the best ever. So I've switched fields and gone into banking. I'm actually just a teller at a Scotiabank near my place. It's only been a week and I'm enjoying it, well as much as I can you know. There is a lot to learn but it'll be good. The first four weeks are full time training then after that I will be working casual just in time for school. I really, really, hope this works out and I can't see anything hindering the process. Only time will tell but as I've said before I'm just excited to see things moving along.
Now I need a girlfriend ;) Hahaha. Just playing, I'm patient and not that desparte.
Anyways, tomorrow is a special day, it's my dad's birthday, so I would like to wish him a very Happy Birthday, ALMOST 50! Congrats!
As for Calgary, I'm really enjoying it, it's been great. I've met a lot of cool people which always helps plus I'm living with one of the coolest aunts ever! I love being able to see the mountains off in the distances, mountains complete me. I can't wait for this upcoming snowboarding season which reminds me I need to pick up my snowboard in Edmonton.
I found the church I'll be attending, it's First Alliance Church which is affiliated with the school I'm attending so that should work out great since they are related.
Anyways if your in Calgary give me a call or text and I'll see what I can do (403) 797-0319
Grace and peace.
