Why am I here?
Hello to everyone! I hope your dong well!
This entry is to hopefully enlighten everyone who doesn't understand why I'm here in the states or maybe you didn't even know I was in the states and I'll let you into what has been going on. Some may understand, others may not.
To start things off I want to address something that even bothered me at one point. Money. Okay, so I have plans to go to college in September with the aims at becoming a pastor, that requires money, right? I could have possibly been working for the past 4-5 months already and probably even had the first year paid for in full already. God has bigger plans than just me making money. The only way I would turn down a period in my life where I was able to work, was so that God could do a work in me when all my attention was on Him. Certain events that took place here in Minot were ordained by God and could only happen here in Minot. People's lives were eternally changed because I am in Minot. What's one thing that you can bring with you to Heaven, people. I know lives will be changed forever because of the short period I had here in Minot, and for that money has no place on the rank. To me one life saved is worth all the riches in the world.
Another area that I am working on and for sure will always be working on is developing a servant's heart. If there is ONE quality I would want, it takes the top. Out of a servant's heart flows all the qualities anyone would want. In order to become a leader, it requires you to become a servant. To become the greatest you must become the least. It's tough and by no means easy and I wish I was better at it. I know that I've come a long way and I'll continue to grow in that area.
So could I have learned these lessons somewhere else, sure, but God had me learn them in Minot. Why not? I know He's taking me onto bigger and better things and I'm excited about that. It may seem to some people that I move around a lot, but I like it. I love seeing the world and the people in it. I know God is just developing my heart into His for His people from all areas of life. Small towns, big towns, in the country, and cities, they're all His people. It's great.
I hope this gave some insight into what I am doing in Minot. By no means was time wasted I believe that within the short period of time my life has changed in ways that money can't buy, and for that I'm grateful. Love you all and I'll see you around, one time or another.
