Canada for the weekend!
I guess it has been awhile since my last post, so here it goes, another one!
So for this past week myself and 7 others from Campus Crusade for Christ went up from Minot and Dickinson to the University of Regina for 5 days. That's right I got to head up to the homeland for a short week to do some evangelism. Crossing the border felt great. It's always cool seeing all the Canadian flags, kilometers, and of course Tim Hortons! The whole point of the trip was to get a Campus for Christ group going in Regina. The Monday we paired up and went on a scavenger hut around the campus to get a feel for it and see what students have to say about the spiritual atmosphere of the campus. For the next two days the eight of us went into pairs, each with a deck of solarium cards. Check out MySoularium for some more information about it. It's basically a picture survey which is designed to open up the conversation for spiritual discussion without being so forceful and giving the person a chance to discuss where they are in life. It is amazing. We also met with people from Regina and others from Saskatoon to see where the next step is to get a group going. I got to meet and live with a lot of amazing people who are on fire for God, it was great.
Anyways, I've just been working out lately, playing basketball. Enjoying this time with my family before I'm off again. Anyways, I'll be posting a little more often lately as there are some thing I want to share with you!
I'm out.
Remember love God, love people.
